Hi, I’m Laken and I live in Abbotsford BC Canada! How my business came to be.. I left my second job and needed to help subsidize my income. I was working in a little store in Agassi and it was chilly. I love big blanket shawls so went looking for fabric to make myself some. I had a few ladies come in and ask if we sold what I was wearing I said no I made them and they asked me to make them some so I did. Then my little sister said Laken we should go take some photos so you can sell them online. And that’s how West Coast Alchemist started!
Something fun about me that not many people know... not so funny I’m a true crime pod junkie! I love listening to anything true crime weird I know. Something fun about me that not many ppl know is I read like 3-4 books at one time... my true Gemini personality comes out and I can’t choose which one so I start a bunch in different subjects and depending on how I’m feeling that day I pick up whichever book matches my vibe.
Words to live by.. Stay humble, know your worth and hustle you butt off to reach your goals. Know that anything gained without a bit of turmoil isn’t worth having. Walk the path less travelled there is beauty there that hasn’t been seen before.
